We are Fairfield, CT’s Youth Football & Cheer Program
The FYF Giants continue to grow because we are not only teaching football and cheerleading. We are teaching valuable lessons about life, sportsmanship, and unity on and off the field.
We compete within Fairfield County
We only compete against towns in Fairfield County. This allows kids to compete locally without taking up a whole weekend of travel! We are excited to be a member of the Fairfield County Football League. Our competition includes Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Ridgefield, Stamford, Westport and Wilton.
Our programs are grade based
Your child will compete with, and against, children in their own grade. The same children they will continue to play with throughout their football career.
Our league starts with FLAG
Our flag program has had unprecedented growth and is where our youth football development begins. Divisions are based on grade. Kindergarten, 1st/2nd (Junior Division), 3rd/4th (Middie Division), 5th/6th (Senior Division) and a 7th/8th grade 7 vs. 7 passing league. In 2019 we launched a new program called Modified Flag. Modified Flag allows kids to participate in playing flag football against the other towns in our league while wearing full pads. It is available for 3rd/4th graders and a great way to learn how to transition to playing in full pads without the full contact of tackle.
Our Cheer program is one of the top in the state
Participants get to learn both sideline and competition style Cheer and have had success throughout the state, region and individuals, nationally. Kids can participate from K-8th in Cheer.
Our Coaches are Certified
ALL of our COACHES in FYF as well as our League are USA Football Heads Up CERTIFIED. The Fairfield County Football League is the ONLY youth league in the State of Connecticut that has passed mandatory certifications.
We think of the future
Your child will compete against the same opponents that he or she will compete against in high school in the FCIAC. This gives Giants players a major advantage at the high school level compared to other sports.
