FAIRFIELD CHEERLEADING PROGRAMS

Overview

Fairfield Youth Cheer is open to participants between the ages of 5 (must be 5 prior to 8/1) and 13. 

Our program offers the opportunity for every participant to be a part of a team while learning the fundamentals of sideline cheers, conditioning, as well as competition stunt, dance and tumbling routines. 

All coaches are certified in concussion training and as well as certified in CPR. 

We offer three teams within our program -Sideline Cheer and two Competition Teams. All three teams are required to cheer at weekend football tackle games. The Competition Teams will compete from anywhere to one to three competitions within the season. Travel is required.

Sideline Cheer:
Sideline Cheer is our cheer team structured for ages 5 thru 7. This team will practice one to two days a week to work on sideline cheers as well as practice entry level stunt and dance formations during the months of August and September. During the month of September through November, in addition to our weekly practice, Sideline Cheer will be cheering on the sidelines and performing at halftime at one of our Fairfield Youth Football games, once a week on the weekend. Uniforms and poms are provided for the use of the season. Game Schedule to be determined at a later date. 

Competition Teams: 
This program is offered to participants 8 thru 13 years of age. These teams practice between two to three times a week during the month of August thru November. All teams are required to cheer once a week, on a weekend, at the assigned football game starting in September.

2024 Spring Cheerleading

Spring Clinics will meet 2 x per week for 6 weeks. Our coaches will teach age/skill level appropriate stunting, tumbling & conditioning.

K-2nd Grade:
Mon & Wed 6-7pm
Dates: April 8, 10, 22, 24, 29  May 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20 and 22nd.  *no clinics the week of FPS Spring Break.

Cost: $200 + $50 field fee

3rd-7th Grade:
Tues & Thurs 6-7pm
Dates: April 9, 11, 23, 25, 30 May 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21 and 23.  *no clinics the week of FPS Spring Break.
