FAIRFIELD YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL PROGRAMS
2026 COED Fall Flag Football
Our flag program is an in-house league where our youth football development begins. We have had unprecedented growth over the past few years with hundreds of players taking part across our town. Fall programs are based on the players rising grade for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Seasons mostly conclude with playoffs in late October with Championship games in Mid-November.
Fairfield Youth Football provides scholarships to help qualifying children participate in FYF Flag programs. We are proud as a program to be able to help families within our community and will review each application on its own merits. Click here to learn more and submit application
Divisions/Schedule:
All Division are COED
Kindergarten: Saturday mornings at The Field House. Final 2 weeks of the season will be official games held outdoors at Sullivan field.
1st-2nd (JR): Practices begin week of August (Day TBD) (1 practice during the week). Games are Saturday mornings/early afternoons starting September (Day TBD) @ Sullivan Field
3rd-4th (Middy): Practices begin week of August (Day TBD) (1 practice during the week). Games are Saturday mornings/early afternoons starting September (Day TBD) @ Sullivan Field
5th-6th (SR Passing): Practices begin week of August (Day TBD) (1 practice during the week). Games are Friday Nights starting September(Day TBD) @ Rodger Ludlowe Middle School
7th-8th (Passing): Practices begin week of August (Day TBD) (1 practice during the week). Games are Friday Nights starting September(Day TBD) @ Rodger Ludlowe Middle School
Cost: $300 plus $50 field fee ($350 total)

COED 2026 Flag Summer Camp
The FYF Summer Flag Football Camp will introduce a wide range of skills throughout the week including passing, receiving, and deflagging, with a strong focus on the rules of the game, encouraging good sportsmanship and teamwork. Participants will develop an understanding of both the offensive and defensive sides of the game with an emphasis on fun and healthy competition, through controlled and safe games throughout the week.
FYF Summer Flag Football Camp is appropriate for players ranging from beginners, to those already well versed in the sport, from grade 1-6 based on 2025/26 school year. Groups are generally separated by grade and ability to ensure all players flourish in a positive learning environment while having a great time. Each week's session culminates in a FYF Super-Camp celebration and Ice Cream Truck visit! Each camper receives FYF Summer Camp SWAG
Sessions/Dates/Times: Campers can sign up for one or both sessions.
Session Week 1 / (Monday, July 20th through Friday, July 24th) / 9:00am – 11:30am each day
Session Week 2 / (Monday, July 27th through Friday, July 31st) / 9:00am – 11:30am each day
Location: St. Pius
Cost: $225 per camper/per week. Campers can enroll in one week or two!

2026 COED Spring Flag Football
Spring Flag Football is a great opportunity for ALL players both brand new & experienced to work on skill development, and learn the difference nuances at each program level with other players they will be playing with and/or against in the Fall Season. Each week will consist of a one day session that will be one part skills & drills then a controlled scrimmage with a different team to allow them to practice what they are learning in a live setting without worrying about scores, standings, playoffs, etc.

COED K-1st (JR) begins April 19th and ends on June 7th

Middy & SR divisions begin April 6th and ends on June 8th
COED 2nd-3rd (Middy): Monday 5:30pm - 7pm @ Riverfield Elementary
(No sessions for Holidays & Spring Break on April 13th, May 18th, May 25th)
COED 4th-5th (SR Passing): Monday 5:30pm - 7pm @ Riverfield Elementary
